Nichole Denise Simmons was born on December 20, 1980, in Sarasota, FL, to Veronica Irving and Dwayne Simmons. Nichole attended the public schools in Sarasota County and graduated from Riverview High School. Deciding to further her education, she attended Everest University. She was employed as a nursing assistant. She attended Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church.
She leaves cherished memories of her life to her four children: Bill Jackson, LeRoia Hampton, Brett Morris, and Samiya Ross; her parents: Veronica Irving and Dwayne Simmons; a sister, Marquita Simmons; a brother, Jonathan Simmons; a grandfather, James Simmons; four aunts: Jackie Hill, Valerie Snell, Mary Mack, and Sharon Turner; four uncles: Gary Snell, Tommie Snell, Todd Simmons, and Dave Price; a nephew, Aquiles Lee, Jr.; a niece, Reality E. and Gracey; her godbrother, Joe Ziegler; and a godmother, Janet Ziegler.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2022, at Chandler’s Funeral Home, 1425 Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Way, Sarasota, FL. A Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church, 3099 N. Osprey Ave., Sarasota, FL. Chandler’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
