A Historical Reflection
Mr. Clyde L. Chandler became a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer by the State of Florida on October 18, 1966. He then worked for Bodge Funeral Home in Pensacola before moving to Clearwater where he was employed with Larkins Funeral Home.
He then decided to move to Sarasota, Florida and was employed at Stevens Funeral Home. In 1995, his dream of owning his own funeral home was recognized when he along with his wife opened Chandler and Son Funeral Home.
In 2003, the Chandler’s had a groundbreaking ceremony in Newtown where they continue to provide “Dignified Services for Precious Memories.”
