Shirley J. Dejerinette, 66, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Visitation will be held at Chandler’s Funeral Home, on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. The Interment will be private.

Shirley Dejerinett was born on February 6, 1957, in Sarasota, Florida to Dan H. Dejerinett and Rosa Lee Dejerinett. Shirley was self-employed. Shirley is remembered by her family as being a very caring and outgoing person.

She loved playing cards, but most of all she loved dancing. Shirley had love for every one of her grandkids. She would do anything for them if she could.

Shirley leaves fond memories to Her companion: Terrance; Her children: Jonathan Presha, Cynthia Martin, Regina Dejerinett, Rodney Lamb, Olden Gordon, III and Reginal Gordon; Father: Dan H. Dejerinett; Mother: Rosa Lee Dejerinett; Sisters: Yvonne Smith, Rose Martin, Katina Collins, Rosemary Dejerinett and Willie Mae Standford; Brothers: Tommy Lee Abner, John Lee Abner, Andre Collins and James Hill; Grandfather: James Kimble; Grandmother: Adeline Kimble; Aunts: Margret MacCray, Ann MacCray and Bobby Kimble; Uncles: John L. Kimble and James Kimble, Jr.; Longtime friend: Denise Clemons, Dorothy Mae, Cynthia Nicole Smith, Barbara Kimble and Freda Eva; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 13 nephews; 7 nieces; and a host of other relatives and loving friends.
