Luwanda Ransom passed away on January 30, 2023. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 16, 2023, 2:00-3:00PM at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 Gillespie Avenue. Homegoing services will immediately follow at 3:00PM at New Bethel MB Church. Interment will be private. Chandler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born on December 9, 1972, in Sarasota, Florida to Diane Johnson and Alphonso Smith. She attended school in Sarasota County.

Her children: Trevor Williams, Jr., Jericca Hill, Jamie Smith (La’Damian), De’Kerria Keno and Devon Keno; Sisters: Coretta Olieberg( Harold), Frances Smith and Kesha Johnson. Grandchildren: Ja’Laziah Dula Hill, Ja’Maya Hill, Jayd’n Smith, Ja’Naijah Smith, DeAsia Galloway, Jeriah Hill and Trevor Williams, III. Great-uncle: Clarence White(Audrey), and a host of other relatives and friends.
