Ashley McGuire was born on March 13, 2002, to William and Laura McGuire. She found peace on March 21, 2023, just a few short days after celebrating her 21st birthday in her hometown of Venice, FL. Visitation will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Calvary Chapel Venice, 602 Albee Farm Rd., Nokomis, FL. The Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Venice Gardens Community Center, 406 Shamrock Blvd., Venice, FL. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the services.

She is survived by her parents, Laura and Bill McGuire, grandmothers Frances Kennedy and Irene McGuire, her aunts and uncles Billy Lawson, Tammy Lawson, Tony Polous, Steve McGuire, Irene Grace McGuire, Martin McGuire, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ashley also leaves behind 9 years’ worth of perplexed doctors.

To Ashley’s Family, I knew Ashley as a young girl selling Girl Scout Cookies in her Mother’s salon on Shamrock Ave. She had a future ahead of her that was taken away too soon. She was a fighter with warriors fighting along
with her. All were brave in this strange ordeal! May Ashley enjoy her new life with her Heavenly Father. And may her family find peace in their dealing with the loss of a precious.daugjter.

I just learned, this morning, that your Ashley has passed. I am profoundly sorry for your loss Laura, she was your whole world. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Both you and Ashley have been in my daily prayers since we met in your salon. You will continue to be in my prayers for your heart’s healing. Take comfort in your faith that Ashley is now at peace in the house of Our Lord.
