Andrea Natasha Holmes, 49, of Sarasota, Florida, affectionately known as “Stanka” to family and friends, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Visitation will be held at Chandler’s Funeral Home, on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023, 12 noon, at Light of the World International Church, 3809 Chapel Drive, Sarasota, Florida. The Interment will be private.
Andrea was born on June 3, 1973, in Sarasota, Florida to Ronald Holmes and Alberta Hawkins. Andrea attended the schools of Sarasota County. She was self-employed and had a passion for cleaning.
Andrea found Jesus at an early age and gospel music always uplifted her spirit. She was a loving person and would light up any room she walked in. She loved her children and grandchildren and will truly be missed. ♥
She is predeceased by her father, Ronald Holmes.
Andrea is survived by: Her children: Natara Smith, Raneka Smiley and Alexia Hawks; Mother: Alberta Hawkins; Sisters: Yomika Holmes, Rhonda Holmes, Shawanda Holmes, and Gloria Bell; Brothers: Michael Byrd and Shaun Martinez; Grandchildren: Tra’Veah Rainey, Kiˊyan Williams, Torrance Timmons, Alajuwan Belvin, Jr., Divante Watkins and Taˊmiyha Bess; Aunts: Leola Hawkins and Tonya Hawkins; Uncles: Frank Hawkins, Donald Hawkins (Sandra) and Jonathan Hawkins (Queenie); Longtime friend: Jeffery McClendon; And a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
