She attended Sarasota County Schools, but overall enjoyed the times she was able to spend in Lacoochee, FL, with her great-grandmother.
Mattie possessed an undeniable love for her family and was affectionally known as the “Aunt who didn’t tolerate foolishness”. She openly profess her Love for the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, her parents, Lillie and Charlie in addition to her great grandson, Legend.
She leaves to cherish her memories, 2 sons, Michael Graham (Kristie) of Orlando, Carvin Gibbons of Sarasota, 2 daughters, Faye Turner of Sarasota, and Marcia Gibbons of Wimauma.
