Catherine Chestnut 62, of Sarasota, FL, departed this earthly life on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM, on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Chandler’s Funeral Home. Homegoing Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 31, 2022, at C. L. Chandler Memorial Chapel, 1425 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Sarasota. Interment will be private.

Catherine Chestnut was born on October 4, 1960, in Sarasota, Florida to Charlie Langston and Katie Alexander.
Catherine was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Palmetto, Florida. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending church. Catherine had a strong faith in God.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Katie Mae Alexander and brother, Charlie Langston.

Left with precious and loving memories are: her husband: Stanley Chestnut; Two children: Jessica Langston-Crawford and Rodney Langston, Sr.; Six grandchildren: Rodney Langston, Jr., Jalissa Langston, Tacoma Langston, Tyron Huffman, Reˊal Langston and Kailynn Langston; Two great-grandsons: Royal Daniels and Zayden Daniels; her father: Charlie Langston, Sr.; Two brothers: Lawrence Bryant and Charles Langston, Jr.; Five aunts, four uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends.
