Mr. Lamar Franklin Bristol

Visitation for Mr. Lamar Bristol will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 5PM-7PM at Chandler’s Funeral Home. Homegoing Services will be on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 1:00PM at Bethlehem Bible Church, 1680 18th Street Sarasota, FL. Interment will be private.

Lamar Franklin Bristol was born February 14, 1950 in Jasper, Florida to Joe and Kathleen Bristol. Frank moved to Sarasota, Florida earlier in life where he utilized his skills at Suncoast Plastics, Newtown Social Club, and Handyman Repairs. He served as a Security Officer for Elite Fleet Security and Protection from 2015 to 2020, OSA Global Security from 2010-2023 and served as the Security Officer for Second Chance Last Opportunity for 33 years.

Frank was a member of Holy Band of Inspiration D.T. Inc, where he dedicated his life to Christ, under the leadership of his sister, Pastor JoAnn Roberson and served for 5 years as a Deacon. After his sister retired, he relocated with Inspiration Praise and Worship and continued to serve as a Deacon under the leadership of Minister April Glasco.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Cathaleen Bristol, three brothers, Albert, Eddie, and Charles Bristol. His Grandparents, Jack and Essie Bristol and George and Mariette Mosley.

He leaves to cherish his memories: four sons, Isaac Bristol (Portia), Morrisville, NC, Quincy Bristol, Shawn Lee, both of Tampa, FL, Alvito Rainey(Tammy Butler),Sarasota, FL; two daughters, Noel Harris, Brooklyn, NY, and Brandice Adams, Sarasota; two Grand-daughters, Isaani and Isaah Bristol, both of Morrisville, NC; a special God-daughter, Shaquess Mapps of Killeen, TX; brother, Isaac Bristol, Jasper, FL; sister JoAnn Roberson(Sam), Rebecca Bristol all of Lake City, FL and Georgia May (Rev. Egbert), Ft. Myers, FL, a host of nieces , nephews, relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
