Keith Burke, 55, of Temple Terrace, Florida, formally of Sarasota, passed away on December 15, 2022. He was born on November 1, 1967, in Sarasota, Florida to Dardia Lee Burke and the late Betty Jo Cocroft. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 5-7 PM, at Chandler’s Funeral Home. Homegoing Services will be held at C. L. Chandler Memorial Chapel, Friday, December 30, 2022 at 12 Noon, 1425 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Sarasota, FL.
Keith Lamar Burke was born on November 1, 1967, in Sarasota, Florida to Dardia Lee Burke and Betty Jo Cocroft. In 1960, Keith moved to New York and later relocated back to Florida, where he married his wife, Theresa Cocroft and started his family. Keith was a very hard worker as a truck driver and delivery person for many years. He had a deep love for his grand babies and cooking on the grill. The one thing that everyone will miss about Keith is his smile and
big heart. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to make you laugh. He was a wonderful father, a good husband and a very good friend to the people who knew him, but the main thing he loved the most are his grand babies.
Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Cocroft, brothers, Charlie Richardson and Dardia Lee Burke, Jr. and sister, Susie Thomas.
