Ivery F. Wilson, Jr., affectionately called Zoolo, 53, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Tidewell Hospice House. Visitation will take place from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Chandler’s Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Trinity Christian Fellowship Center, 1800 N. East Avenue, Sarasota. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Park Cemetery.
Zoolo was born on March 31, 1970, in Sarasota, Florida, and was a graduate of Riverview High School, in Sarasota. He was a Christian who received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a very young age. He loved all sports, with the 49ers being his #1 favorite team and Florida
State. He loved family gatherings, yearly vacations with his wife, playing cards on Saturday with friends, (he loved to be the winner LOL).
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Corine Pompey, and Freddie and Dorothy Wilson; and daughter, Teria’le.
Zoolo is survived by: Wife, Faye Wilson; Sons, Pierre and Jerrell; Daughters, Princess (David), and Iveri “Brie” (Michael), and Kayla; Mother, Brenda Pompey Baylor (Thomas – Dad); Father, Ivery Wilson, Sr.; Brother: Vincent (LayWaysha); Sisters, Sheena (Titus), Trina (Herb), and Ivey (James); Grandchildren, Ani, Autumn, Acai “Ace,” and Wes; Nieces, Jebrea, Jelisha, and Keionna; Nephews, Narvel and Nathan; Uncles, Eric (Tanai), Byron (Amy), And a Very Special Uncle: Chuck (Beatrice); Aunts, Patricia (Sammy) and Linda (Shiller); Sister-in-Law, Debbie; Brothers-in-Law, Tony (Hulda) and Michael (Sandy); And a host of other relatives and friends.
My dear cousin, I know you are pain-free now in Heaven! Kiss Granny, Uncle Jr. my Mom, and Aunt Marion for me. Until we meet again, rest in peace.

My Heart goes out to all the Families I really and Sadden to hear this I remember Zoolo as a young boy and one thing that Always stood out about him was his Beautiful Smile .. He would greet you with so much Love and that Big Smile ..I can only imagine the grief but know Iam Praying that the Lord give the comfort that is need to get thru this time In Sorrow .
