Miss Quantasia Monae Grant

Quantisha Monae Grant, 20 of Huntsville, Alabama and formerly of Sarasota, Florida passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2023. She graduated from Sarasota High School in 2021. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, 2:00 PM, at the C.L. Memorial Chapel, 1425 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Sarasota. The interment will be private.

She was born on June 10, 2002, in Sarasota, Florida to Antoinette and Ederick Walker. She was the baby girl of the family. Quantisha was a loving and compassionate person who loved people. She never met a stranger. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. She had a sweet and kind soul. She was a lover of fashion, enjoyed dancing and listening to music. Quantasia was funny, vivacious and loyal to her friends.

Quantisha Grant was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. She loved spending time with family and friends, and if you were lucky enough to be in her presence you could feel pure joy radiating from her that would blind you. She recently moved to Huntsville to pursue her dreams of being a hairstylist and becoming an entrepreneur.

She is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ollie Smith and Barbara Gobourne.

Quantisha leaves to cherish her memories…. Her parents; sisters: Sadequah Caldwell, Xykira Caldwell, Latasha Walker, CeQuoia Walker; brothers: Jakylan Walker, Terry Hardison, Ederick Walker II, Kahlil Caldwell; grandfather: Roland Gobourne; aunts: Katina Grant Adams, Chandra Kennedy, Annie Slay; uncles: Jerry Grant, Roosevelt Adams, Derrick Gobourne; other relatives: Kimkeshia Johnson, Davion Johnson, Rodriques Johnson, Jalen Hardage, Chester Ward and Mytiria Ward.
